But everything changed during 2020, when I, like so many others, found myself stuck at home, craving something grounding, creative, and nourishing. That’s when I finally cracked the code.
After lots of trial, error, and research (and more than a few flops), I developed a super reliable starter that’s been thriving ever since. It’s strong, resilient, and perfect for beginners or seasoned bakers ready to level up their game. I’ve dehydrated it to make it easy to ship—and even easier to bring to life in your own kitchen.
What It’s Fed With:
We believe in using only the best to ensure a healthy, vigorous starter. It’s fed exclusively with King Arthur Organic Bread Flour and Berkey Filtered water, which helps the flour’s nutrients absorb more efficiently and makes for a strong, bubbly culture.
